Career spanning 20 years in mental health and drug and alcohol services, working in both public and private sectors as well as residential drug and alcohol rehabs with adults and young people.

My professional passion is working with people who experience difficulties stemming from addiction and trauma as my therapeutic lens supports a person from a trauma informed, holistic person-centred approach with support from an embodied and natural / environmental surround.
I use a combination of therapeutic models including:
narrative,
strength based,
relational,
12 step,
psychotherapeutic,
nature based and
yogic/ eastern philosophy techniques.
My years as a psychiatric/ Drug and alcohol nurse also enables me to have clinical knowledge and expertise with medical treatments and diagnosis.
LGBTQIA and aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are also populations I am associated with and enjoy working with in providing a safe and culturally aware space.
